Egyptian Post signs a cooperation agreement with Oman Post aimed at exchanging experiences and developing postal and logistical services between the two countries

Within the framework of permanent and ongoing cooperation between Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman, Egyptian Post and Oman Post signed a cooperation agreement aimed at exchanging experiences and enhancing ways of cooperation in the field of postal and logistical services and e-commerce. This took place in the historic Egyptian Post building in Ataba, in the presence of Ahmed Nasser Al-Amiri, Director General of International Relations and Trade, Siham Khamis Al-Balushi, Director of Marketing and Communications, and all executive leadership of the Egyptian Post.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Sherif Farouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Post, and Mr. Nasr bin Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Head of Post in the Sultanate of Oman.

For his part, Dr. Sherif Farouk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Postal Authority, said: “This agreement comes within the framework of permanent and ongoing cooperation between Egyptian Post and Oman Post, and confirms the depth of relations between Egypt and the Sultanate of Oman, and comes as a culmination of the efforts made between the two parties to support aspects of cooperation between The two countries, as the agreement aims to enhance postal cooperation between the two countries in the field of postal and logistical services and e-commerce, through the international postal network under the umbrella of the Universal Postal Union, in addition to exchanging experiences in the field of technical and international relations and various postal aspects, and activating the International Postal Payment Service (IFS). between the two countries, issuing joint postage stamps between the two countries on issues agreed upon by both parties, and promoting postal services such as: (express, registered, regular, and parcel mail) to enhance the exchange of postal services between the two countries in a way that contributes to providing distinguished postal services.”

For his part, Nasr bin Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Head of Post Office in the Sultanate of Oman, welcomed the strengthening of joint cooperation between Oman Post and Egyptian Post, wishing for continued cooperation in a way that contributes to providing distinguished services to postal customers in the two countries. He wished success for Egyptian Post, and that the coming period will witness more cooperation. In order to achieve interconnection and integration between Arab countries, Nasr bin Badr Al Busaidi, Head of Post Office in the Sultanate of Oman, also praised the development achieved by Egyptian Post in terms of infrastructure and technology and the development of the system of services provided to customers.
