The Pakistani Assistant Foreign Minister praises the holding of the Fourth Pakistan-Africa Trade Development Conference in Cairo

Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Pakistani Assistant Foreign Minister for Middle Eastern Affairs, met with his Egyptian counterpart, Ambassador Ahmed Shaheen, Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs, at the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, today, where the meeting was attended by Ambassador Sajid Bilal, Pakistani Ambassador to Egypt.

During the meeting, a wide range of bilateral relations were reviewed, including political, trade and investment relations.

The two sides also discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations, including holding the next round of the Joint Ministerial Committee meeting and annual bilateral consultations early in Islamabad this year.

The two sides praised the successful holding of the 4th Pakistan-Africa Trade Development Conference and One Country Exhibition in Cairo from January 9 to 11, 2024, which coincided with the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

They agreed to continue their consultations to give more momentum to the excellent relations existing between the two countries.
