Speaker of the Arab Parliament: The occupation evades its heinous crimes with false allegations against Egypt

Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoumi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, denounced the false allegations made by representatives of the occupying authority (Israel) before the International Court of Justice regarding the Egyptian state’s position on the Rafah crossing, stressing that the occupation authorities are trying to evade the heinous crimes they are committing in the Gaza Strip with these false claims. Al-Asoumi stressed that the position of the Egyptian state, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, since the beginning of this brutal aggression, does not require testimony from anyone, but the Arab Republic of Egypt is the owner of the largest share of humanitarian aid that entered the Gaza Strip, and it has spared no effort to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid. Through the Rafah crossing, in addition to its tireless efforts at the political level to achieve a ceasefire and stop this aggression.

Al-Asoumi stressed that the Egyptian state has made use of all its apparatuses to meet the urgent humanitarian and medical priorities in support of the Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip.

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament added that the bombing carried out by the occupying force in the vicinity of the Rafah crossing from the Palestinian side was clearly visible, and its obstruction of the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip does not need evidence, as the whole world has seen the war crimes and genocide crimes committed by the force. Al-Asoumi appreciated the positions of the Egyptian state, its leadership and people, stressing that it is always at the forefront of supporters and supporters of the Palestinian cause at all levels, adding that this is not new to Egypt, the beating heart of Arabism, which stands as an impenetrable wall against plans and attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause.
