The Russian House in Cairo celebrates the anniversary of the construction of the High Dam next Monday

The Russian House in Cairo, in cooperation with the Family House for Culture and Art, the High Dam Builders Association, and the Association of Graduates of Russian and Soviet Universities, is organizing a major celebration on the 64th anniversary of laying the foundation stone for the construction of the High Dam, at exactly 5 p.m. on Monday, January 15, at the theater of the Russian Cultural Center.

The celebration includes speeches by Murad Gatin, Director of the Russian Cultural Centers in Egypt, Engineer Sabry El-Ashmawy, President of the Dam Builders Association, Sherif Gad, President of the Graduates Association, Counselor Sherif El-Gendy, Chairman of the Family House Forum, and journalist Mohamed El-Shafi’i. Engineer Abdel-Hakim Gamal Abdel-Nasser will also deliver a speech. About the family of the late leader Gamal Abdel Nasser.

The celebration also includes artistic performances in which Adham El Gamal, singer Omnia Tariq, singer Hala El Debeki, singer Mohamed Fawzi, singer Mohamed Waheed, Algerian singer Amina, and Nubian singer Khaled Mounir participate. It also shows a documentary film about the construction phase of the High Dam.

The celebration, moderated by Counselor Sherif El Gendy, concludes with honoring 25 engineers from the builders of the High Dam.
