The Suez Canal’s chief, Admiral Osama Rabie, declared that the marine transport is secure along both sides on Friday. He firmly denied all speculations regarding the suspension of navigation in the Suez Canal due to recent events at the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait. He emphasized that 44 vessels will cross the canal tomorrow, transporting an astonishing 2.3 million tons of cargo.
Rabie concluded by confirming that the authority maintains constant communication with all organizations and shipping companies to cooperate and ensure the continuous flow of global supply chains.
