Egypt sent a humanitarian aid convoy to Gaza on October 10, 2023, trucks containing medical supplies, food, clothes ,and other essential items. The convoy, organized by the Egyptian Red Crescent and “Hayah karima” the initiative that was endorsed by President Abdelfattah El Sisi, their aim now is to support the people in Gaza, who are suffering from the ongoing occupation of Israel.
The Palestinian Red Crescent welcomed the aid, stating it was urgently needed.
Also more aid is needed to help Gaza recover so if you want to support and help Gaza in this crisis you can donate through hayah karima and Egyptian Red Crescent.
On the other hand, the Egyptian government has been mediating a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
