The Sultanate of Oman revealed that it will organize the “Sohar Investment Forum”, in its first session on the 26th and 27th of next February, with the support and partnership of a number of government and private institutions, with the aim of seeking to provide an ideal platform that brings together an elite group of leaders, government officials, businessmen, and major local and international investors. and companies, to shed light on developments in the investment scene in the Sultanate of Oman and the world.
The launch of the Sohar Investment Forum comes within the framework of national efforts to develop the governorates and exploit the comparative and competitive advantage of each governorate, within the aspirations of the future vision of Oman 2040, which is in harmony with the objectives of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry to enhance the position of the Sultanate of Oman as an attractive investment destination, and to support the private sector to benefit from various opportunities. The forum will shed light on the economic components of the North Al Batinah Governorate, in addition to the incentives provided to the investor, and in its first session, it will present 100 investment opportunities in the governorate, distributed among the basic and promising sectors, the most prominent of which are the technology, information technology, health, renewable energy and other sectors.
