The Ambassador pointed out the importance of continuing to provide life-saving humanitarian, relief and health support to the Gaza Strip, in light of the continuing genocide of civilians, children and women, which has entered its fourth month, and continuing to prevent the adequate delivery of humanitarian, health, relief and fuel aid, and cutting off electricity.

In her speech at the symposium, the Ambassador confirmed that the League of Arab States – as stated by His Excellency the Secretary-General – supports the lawsuit filed by South Africa against Israel before the International Court of Justice on charges of committing genocide crimes and violating the 1948 Convention on the Prevention of the Crime of Genocide, and the General Secretariat looks forward to the ruling. Adel, stop this aggressive war, and put an end to the bleeding of Palestinian blood. It paves the way for holding all Israeli officials involved in the crime of genocide accountable, thus restoring international justice’s credibility before the peoples of the world.
The Ambassador appreciated the efforts of the Arab Republic of Egypt and its diligent coordination to bring urgent aid and emergency needs to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip continuously since the first day of the brutal Israeli aggression. She also thanked the Director General of the Library of Alexandria for his efforts to organize this important symposium in light of the accelerating tragic events in the Gaza Strip. It also appreciated the Arab efforts to support Palestine, and to send air aid bridges to supply the brave Palestinian people with their needs in this difficult time, to mitigate the effects of the Israeli aggression.
