Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoumi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, confirmed that the Arab nation is going through an extremely dangerous and difficult stage, requiring vigilance and awakening that has never been needed more than ever.
The Speaker of the Arab Parliament explained that what is happening in the State of Palestine, although it is the most dangerous scene ever, represents a link in a series of other crises that the Arab peoples are suffering from, adding that the current situations in Sudan, Yemen, Syria and Libya, with their degree of danger varying from one place to another, remain… Intractable crises that require unconventional Arab mechanisms and solutions in order to alleviate the suffering of the Arab people in those countries.
This came in a speech by the President of the Arab Parliament during the opening of the second session of the Arab Parliament of the fourth session of the third legislative term, which was held today at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.
Al-Asoumi stressed that the Arab Parliament is fully prepared to lead Arab parliamentary diplomacy, to contribute to reaching final political solutions to these crises.
