The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Badr Al Busaidi, held a telephone conversation with his counterpart, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Hakan Fidan.

The dialogue focused on the development of regional and global positions towards Israel’s brutal aggression and illegal siege of the Gaza Strip and the danger of escalation in the region as a result.

The two ministers agreed on the importance of intensifying political endeavors and efforts aimed at calming the situation, achieving a ceasefire, and resuming humanitarian work to provide relief to the population in the Gaza Strip, provide for their living needs, and support the voice of truth and justice for the Palestinian people in general and their right to self-determination.

The two parties stressed that Israel continues to violate the rules of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter, which requires an immediate international response to address these violations by all available means and to hold it accountable for that.
