Al-Asoumi receives new members of the Arab Parliament from the Sultanate of Oman and appreciates the Sultanate’s efforts in strengthening joint Arab parliamentary work

Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al Asoumi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, received Sheikh Dr. Talib bin Hilal bin Sultan Al Hosani and Representative Sariya bint Khalfan Al Hadiya, the new members of the Arab Parliament from the Sultanate of Oman, on the sidelines of the second plenary session of the Arab Parliament of the fourth session of the term. The third legislative session was held at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo.

The President of the Arab Parliament expressed his sincere congratulations to the new representatives, wishing them success in performing their duties in a way that serves the hopes and aspirations of the Arab people and achieves the interests of the Arab nation.

Al-Asoumi appreciated the efforts of the Sultanate of Oman, led by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, may God protect him, in supporting and strengthening joint Arab action and defending its interests at all levels, stressing the Arab Parliament’s keenness to increase the pace of coordination with the Omani State Council, headed by His Excellency Sheikh Abdul Malik bin Abdul. God Al-Khalili in what serves the interest of the Arab people.

For their part, the new members of the Omani State Council in the Arab Parliament expressed their happiness on the occasion of joining the Arab Parliament, representing the great Arab people, and their full readiness to contribute with the rest of the members to provide everything that serves the interests of the Arab peoples.

The meeting was attended by MP Hamid Al-Nasseri, a member of the Arab Parliament.
