Next February… The Sultanate of Oman will host a global conference to discuss the artificial intelligence revolution

Next February, the Omani capital, Muscat, will host, for three days, the seventh edition of the annual Omani Society for Human Resources Management conference, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor, under the title “Moving towards the future of work” (HR_X).

The conference, which will be held during the period from February 12-14, 2024 AD at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, addresses the topics of leading the artificial intelligence revolution, navigating its ethics and its impact on the future of jobs, the transition to artificial intelligence, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and navigating organizational culture in the age of artificial intelligence.

The conference will also discuss the modernity of work, its tools and components, through workshops, dialogue sessions, and interventions that review developments in the human resources sector, approved experiences, and innovative solutions, all of which aim to develop human resources, enhance human capital, and rely on the new work culture in the future.

It is noteworthy that the Omani Society for Human Resources Management (OSHRAM), since its official inception in May 2014, has been working on the continuous development of the human resources sector and the continuous support it needs, in line with the speed of developments in this sector to benefit from it in strengthening and developing human resources in the Sultanate of Oman, and enhancing the human resource. With modern ideas and trends according to Oman’s future vision 2040.
