Advisor to President Sisi participates in the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo

Lieutenant General Mohamed Farid Hegazy, Advisor to the President of the Republic for the Dignified Life Initiative, represented him, participated in the inauguration ceremony of President Felix Tshisekedi, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, at the head of a high-level delegation, in the presence of Ambassador Hamdi Sanad Loza, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for African Affairs.

Nearly 20 heads of state and government, in addition to a number of officials and representatives of countries and international organizations, also participated in the celebration.

On the sidelines of the visit, Lieutenant General Hegazy inspected the Egyptian police battalion operating within the United Nations mission in the Congo, and was accompanied by Ambassador Hisham Al-Maqoud, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Democratic Republic of Congo, and members of the delegation and mission in Kinshasa, where he met with the members of the battalion and praised the Egyptian participation in conservation operations. Peace in general and in the African continent in particular, stressing the need to ensure that the battalion is an honorable face for the Egyptian state.
