The press conference for the launch of the sixth edition of the “International Entrepreneurship Forum” was held today, Monday, at the headquarters of the League of Arab States, where the conference reviewed the ongoing preparations for holding the forum, which is being held under the auspices of the League of Arab States (Economic Affairs Sector – Department of Economic Relations) and jointly organized by the Union of Arab States. Arab Chambers, Office of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO – Bahrain), which will be held this year during the month of May 2024, following the Arab Summit meetings scheduled to be held in Manama / Kingdom of Bahrain.
Ambassador Dr. Ahmed Rashid Khattabi – Assistant Secretary-General, Head of the Media and Communication Sector, participated in the press conference, and gave a speech about the conference, Dr. Khaled Hanafi, Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Chambers, and Dr. Hashem Hussein, Head of the Investment and Technology Promotion Office at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. (UNIDO) in Bahrain, and the presence of a number of concerned parties as well as representatives of various media.
This forum is of great importance as it is an initiative for distinguished international cooperation aimed at supporting Arab youth as they are the agents of change, as the forum succeeded in being a platform for exchanging best international practices and experiences on means of developing appropriate and stimulating environmental systems for local investment and linking them to foreign investment with the aim of achieving economic empowerment through entrepreneurship. Business and innovation. The forum also seeks to connect entrepreneurs from all over the world with their counterparts to achieve partnerships and develop bilateral investments.
This forum aims to inspire the participation of young entrepreneurs in Arab countries to create more opportunities to contribute to sustainable development in the Arab region, noting that His Excellency the Secretary-General is a fundamental supporter of this forum and participated in all its previous sessions.
