Egypt qualified for the final of the African Handball Championship after the Egyptian national team beat the Tunisian national team in the 26th edition of the tournament, which is qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The Egyptian handball team presented a strong performance during the tournament, and is moving steadily towards achieving the dream of winning the ninth African title, and securing a ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Spanish coach of the Egyptian national team Juan Carlos Pastor stated at the press conference, “Our victory over Tunisia was well-deserved and we presented a strong performance,” He added”The great public presence is the secret word and our deadly weapon. I thank them and we look forward to continuing their support in the final on Saturday.” he also thanked and praised the team for their effort and performance.
The tournament is hosted in Egypt during the period from January 17 to 27.
