Ambassador Aya Saad presented her credentials to the President of Myanmar, General Aung Min Hlaing, as Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
During their meeting, President Hilling praised the historical relations between Egypt and Myanmar, and his country’s aspiration for more joint cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations in various fields, stressing his support and the support of his government to push forward economic, trade and investment relations between the two countries, as well as working to hold a round. For her part, the Egyptian Ambassador stressed the depth of the ties between Egypt and Myanmar, and pointed to the huge potential enjoyed by both countries, which strengthens bilateral relations in the trade, economic and investment fields towards broader horizons.
The Ambassador held several meetings with a number of Myanmar ministers and senior officials, including the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Agriculture, Livestock, Irrigation, Construction, Energy, Trade, Industry, Investment and Foreign Economic Relations and the Governor of the Central Bank, where she discussed with them ways to develop bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest.
As well as improving the volume of trade exchange between the two countries in line with the capabilities and expertise that both of them have in various economic and commercial fields.
