This evening, Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, received Mr. Ernesto Villagas, Minister of the Popular Authority for Culture of the Republic of Venezuela, upon his arrival in Egypt to participate in the activities of the Cairo International Book Fair.
During the meeting, the Minister of Culture welcomed her Venezuelan counterpart and appreciated the importance of the first participation of the Venezuelan side in the book fair, as it represents a strong addition to the fair in terms of cultural diversity, which the fair aims to activate at all levels.
For his part, the Venezuelan Minister of Culture conveyed the greetings of Mr. Nicolas Maduro, President of the Republic of Venezuela, to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, and appreciated Egypt’s role in resolving the Palestine issue, expressing his respect and appreciation for the efforts of the Egyptian state in this regard, expressing the importance of these efforts. Participation represents a starting point for activating more cultural and artistic cooperation between the two countries. The meeting concluded by thanking the Egyptian Minister of Culture for the warm reception, wishing for more fruitful and positive cooperation between the two sides.
