Within the framework of the Qatari Embassy in Cairo’s keenness to raise awareness of the distinguished relations between the State of Qatar and the Arab Republic of Egypt, Ambassador Tariq Ali Farag Al Ansari, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Cairo and its permanent representative to the League of Arab States, held a luncheon at the embassy headquarters to welcome a number of media professionals, representatives of newspapers and news sites.
During the meeting, the strong relations between the two brotherly countries were emphasized and the great level they have reached at all levels under the wise leadership of Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his brother, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
The ambassador stressed the political desire and great keenness on both sides to advance these relations to higher levels and diversify them to include all fields, including economic, cultural, artistic, sports, and social, and not just political.
There was consensus at the meeting about the positive role that the media can play in strengthening the bonds of cooperation and trust between countries and peoples.
