The new Dominican ambassador to Cairo stresses the importance of bilateral relations and joint work with Egypt

Today, Ambassador East Roman Maldonald presented a copy of her credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Dominican Republic to the Arab Republic of Egypt, to Ambassador Nabil Habashi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

During the ceremony of handing over a copy of her credentials, Ambassador Roman reaffirmed the Dominican Republic’s commitment to strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries through dialogue and cooperation, with the aim of increasing cultural exchange and encouraging trade and investment between the two countries. She also pointed out the importance of bilateral relations and joint work for greater rapprochement between our two countries. .

Ambassador Roman, who has been working as a diplomat for more than 30 years of service to the government of the Dominican Republic, confirmed that she continues to strengthen relations between the two countries and to enhance our bilateral relations. Also, on December 30, the 63rd anniversary of friendship between the two countries was celebrated. Dominican Republic and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

According to the protocol of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, after handing over a copy of the credentials, Ambassador Roman is allowed to exercise her duties as head of mission.
The ceremony was also attended by Ambassador Reham Ammar, Deputy Director of Protocol, and Ms. Kenya Liranzo, Minister Plenipotentiary at the Dominican Embassy in Cairo.
