The Minister of Social Development and Family of the State of Qatar, Maryam Al-Misnad, met today with Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, to discuss ways to deepen cooperation in the social and humanitarian fields, in the presence of Dr. Nevin Al-Qabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Ambassador Tariq Al-Ansari, Qatar’s Ambassador to Egypt.
Mrs. Maryam Al-Misnad expressed her aspiration for continued cooperation and coordination with Egypt in providing humanitarian support to the Palestinian brothers and receiving the wounded, praising the efforts made by the Egyptian state to provide humanitarian support and receiving the wounded and injured Palestinian brothers.
The Qatari Minister also expressed her country’s keenness to strengthen cooperation with Egypt, especially with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, within the scope of social and humanitarian projects, as well as following up on the implementation of bilateral agreements between the two countries.
During the meeting, Ambassador Tariq Al-Ansari affirmed Qatar’s full support for Egypt’s tireless efforts to provide more aid to the Gaza Strip, pointing to a number of initiatives that Qatar is working to implement in cooperation with Egypt to provide support to the Palestinian brothers, in addition to receiving the wounded to provide them with the necessary treatment.
For his part, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly welcomed the Minister of Social Development and Family in the State of Qatar, asking to convey his greetings to his counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, the Qatari Prime Minister, stressing the solidity and longevity of Egyptian-Qatari relations. He pointed out that there are many aspects and areas of cooperation that would advance bilateral relations between the two countries.
Dr. Nevin Al-Qabbaj reviewed aspects of cooperation with her Qatari counterpart in the social and humanitarian fields and issues of economic empowerment and family protection, noting in this regard the visits made by Mrs. Maryam Al-Misnad to a number of social and humanitarian institutions, through which she learned about what the Ministry of Social Solidarity is doing. Activities and areas in this regard, within the framework of the cooperation protocol signed between the two sides, as this protocol supports joint cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two ministries.
