The Egyptian ambassador presents his credentials in Panama and Costa Rica

Ambassador Hazem Hanafy presented his credentials as Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Panama to President Laurentino Cortizo, in a ceremony at the Presidential Palace, where he conveyed the President’s greetings and assigned him to work to support bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields, while the Panamanian President, in return, affirmed his deep appreciation for Egypt and its people, and asked He conveyed his greetings to the President of the Republic.

Mrs. Foreign Minister Khanina Tiwani Minkomo also received the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt after presenting credentials to follow up on the development of bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in the cultural and economic fields, as well as learning about Egypt’s vision of the situation in the region.

Ambassador Hazem Hanafi also presented his credentials as a non-resident ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Costa Rica to Vice President Stefan Brunner on January 26 at the Presidential Palace in the capital, San Jose, where a lengthy session was held in the presence of Foreign Minister Arnoldo Andre Tinoco, which discussed the overall bilateral relations, the importance of developing them, and opportunities. There are many opportunities available in real estate and tourism investment, as well as infrastructure such as roads and airports, and opportunities for Egyptian companies to participate in trade fairs held in Costa Rica to increase trade between the two sides. It was also pointed out that the excellence of Egyptian products in the fields of textiles, agricultural products, food industries, building materials, medicines and technology, and the increasing number of tourists from Costa Rica to Egypt in recent years.

Costa Rican President Rodrigo Chavez Robles also held an event on the same evening for all members of the resident and non-resident diplomatic corps, in which he expressed his welcome to all the new ambassadors to Costa Rica, and his interest in developing bilateral relations.
