The ambassador added: We are thinking about what can be done for the benefit of the water issue in Egypt, and the many aspects it includes, including water stations, drainage and dealing with rainwater. We also support emerging companies interested in this field, and we have already met some of them because of their wonderful ideas related to water.
The European Union Ambassador pointed out that choosing Alexandria as part of the partnership came because of its connection with Europe through open water canals, and that is why we work together with partners to support various files, noting that there is a framework memorandum of understanding signed between Egypt and the Union that must be translated into practical steps to manage the water file in a proper manner. Good. With this memorandum, Egypt will join many research programs, in addition to cooperation with specialists in climate change and its economic and commercial impacts.
