UNRWA: 600000 displaced people in Gaza.

Translated by Ingy Ashraf,

The United Nations agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA) said that there are 600,000 Palestinian internally displaced people in Gaza who are living in 150 of the agency’s facilities.

The UNRWA had previously announced that it would be obliged to suspend operations in the Gaza Strip, if they didn’t receive fuel urgently.

Also the UNRWA called for the need to allow the humanitarian aid to Gaza without any obstacles, according to what international newspapers reported.

UNRWA spokesperson Tamara AlRifai said,
“We call for an unimpeded and continuous flow of humanitarian assistance and medical assistance to continue coming into Gaza.”

Tamara AlRifai noted that the trucks that arrived are merely a drop in the comparison to the demands of the people in the street.
