Ambassador Mohamed Farghal presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Mozambique, Filipe Nyusi, as Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Mozambique. The credentials presentation ceremony was followed by the President’s reception of the Egyptian Ambassador in the presence of both the Political Advisor to the President of the Republic and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The Egyptian ambassador conveyed the greetings of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the Mozambican president, and the Egyptian side’s aspiration to strengthen cooperation frameworks between the two countries in various fields during the coming period, and to maximize the use of available capabilities in areas of mutual benefit, including the fields of agriculture, investment, health, energy, and infrastructure. . He pointed out Egypt’s keenness on mutual coordination regarding international and regional issues to achieve the common interests of both countries in facing the challenges posed by current events on the international arena.

For his part, the President of the Republic of Mozambique asked to convey his sincere greetings and appreciation to the President of the Republic, expressing his appreciation for the historical and pivotal role of Egypt in Africa and the Middle East, stressing his sincere thanks to the Egyptian side for all aspects of technical support and training courses provided to the Mozambican side to raise the efficiency Human capabilities in various government sectors.
