Antony Blinken arrived in Riyadh today.

The US Secretary Antony Blinken arrived in Riyadh on Monday marking the first of his fifth regional tour following the start of the Israel-Gaza war. He’s due to meet with senior Saudi officials in order to discuss the current crisis in Gaza. Afterwards, Blinken is planned to travel to Israel, Egypt, and Qatar.

Blinken emphasized the importance of “urgently addressing humanitarian needs in Gaza,” as aid organizations repeatedly warned about the destructive impact of nearly four months of war.

The unwra stated today’s morning, “our food convoy waiting to move into northern Gaza was hit by israeli naval gunfire-thankfully no one was injured.

” They continued, “we cannot deliver humanitarian aid under fire, safe and sustainable humanitarian access is urgently needed everywhere including to the northern Gaza.”

The Palestinian health ministry said that more than 27400 Palestinians were killed in the strip during the almost 4 month of war on Palestinian and more than 66800 palestinian were injured since 7th October.
