King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s pride in the close fraternal ties it has with sister Egypt and ancient historical relations that are becoming more established and developed thanks to the continuous care, common will and leadership of the two brotherly countries.
This came during the King’s reception of Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, Minister of the Interior, who is visiting the Kingdom, at Al-Safriya Palace, where he conveyed to the King the greetings and appreciation of his brother, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and his sincere wishes for the Kingdom and its honorable people for continued prosperity and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty.
While the King informed him of conveying his greetings and good wishes to President Sisi and the dear people of Egypt for further progress and development.
The King welcomed the Minister of the Interior, praising such fraternal visits, which constitute support for the process of fruitful cooperation and coordination and solid joint work at all levels, especially in the security field, in a way that achieves the common benefit of the two countries and the two brotherly peoples and enhances their strong and established relations.
During the meeting, the King expressed his appreciation for the role played by the Egyptian community in Bahrain and its constructive contribution to the process of development and construction over the past decades, pointing out the common features, history and ancient civilization that unite the two countries.
He also praised the efforts of his brother, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in consolidating and strengthening the distinguished bilateral relations and the honorable positions of sister Egypt, under the leadership of His Excellency, in support of the Kingdom of Bahrain, praising its historical and pioneering role in protecting Arab national security and preserving the interests of the Arab nation and the basic pillar and pillar of security and stability in the region.
The meeting touched on the current developments taking place in the region and regional and international developments of common interest.
For his part, the Minister of Interior, Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq, expressed his deep thanks, gratitude and appreciation to the King for the good reception and hospitality, and praised his role and efforts in strengthening and developing Bahraini-Egyptian relations and developing the foundations of joint cooperation, stressing the pride of Egypt’s leadership and people in the close fraternal ties that unite it with the Kingdom of Bahrain.
