The Russian Embassy in Egypt expressed its sincere condolences to the families of the students of the Russian Egyptian University and Badr University who died as a result of the traffic accident this morning on Al-Roubiki Road.
In a statement distributed a short while ago, the Russian Embassy in Cairo wished a speedy recovery for the injured, saying: “We grieve with our Egyptian friends.”
Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the ministry’s leaders and all members of the academic community offered their sincere condolences on the death of 5 students from the Egyptian Russian University and Badr University in Cairo, following a collision between a private bus that was transporting the students this morning with a transport vehicle, praying to God for them sincerely. Mercy and forgiveness.
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research also communicated with the administration of the two universities. To check on the injured students, and to ensure that all aspects of medical care are provided to them.
It is worth noting that the collision occurred between the private bus and a transport vehicle, on the Geneva-Roubiki road in the direction of Suez on the regional road, and resulted in the death of the driver and 5 students and the injury of 12 students from the two universities.
