The Kuwaiti Ambassador during the celebration of his country’s National Day: The bilateral relations between us and Egypt are historical and strategic

The Kuwaiti Ambassador to Cairo, Ghanem Saqr Al-Ghanem, praised the special relations between the leadership and peoples of Egypt and Kuwait, stressing the common keenness to extend bridges of cooperation and integration between them, with the support and care of Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his brother, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.

Al-Ghanim stressed the bonds of mutual love, strong historical relations, and strategic partnership that unite Kuwait and Egypt, pointing out that the relationship has been extending since the beginning of the last century, and has witnessed many bright milestones recorded in history books.

This came in the speech delivered by Al-Ghanim at the reception organized by the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Cairo and the Permanent Delegation to the League of Arab States on the occasion of the sixty-third National Day of Kuwait and the thirty-third anniversary of liberation.

The National Day was attended by a large group of officials, led by Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity, on behalf of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, in addition to ambassadors of Arab and foreign countries accredited to Egypt, public figures, artists, and media professionals. They were received by Ambassador Ghanem Saqr Al-Ghanem and Ambassador Talal Al-Mutairi, the permanent representative of Kuwait to the League of Nations. Arabic.

Ambassador Al-Ghanim explained during his speech that what distinguishes Kuwait’s national holidays this year is that they coincide with the beginning of the new era under the leadership of the Emir of the country, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, with what he owns.

The Kuwaiti Ambassador congratulated the Egyptian leadership and people on the election of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for a new presidential term, to continue the path of progress, development and stability.

The Kuwaiti ambassador pointed out the exceptional circumstances that the Arab world is going through, represented by what the brothers in Gaza are exposed to, a war of genocide and forced displacement as a result of the war waged by the Israeli occupation forces, stressing that his country declared its denunciation of this barbaric aggression, and renewed its support for Palestinian rights, noting that The people of Kuwait provided various assistance to their brothers in Palestine by establishing an air bridge to transport medical and relief materials in implementation of the order of the Emir of the country.

Al-Ghanim appreciated the great efforts made by Egypt to deliver aid to those besieged in the Gaza Strip, as well as the communications it is making to stop this aggression, expressing the hope that the current efforts will succeed in stopping the bloodshed of the Palestinian brothers.
