A press center was opened to cover the activities of the upcoming annual legislative and political advisory sessions in China on Tuesday at the Media Center Hotel in Beijing.
The second annual session of the 14th National People’s Congress and the second annual session of the 14th National People’s Political Consultative Conference of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference are scheduled to open on March 5 and 4, respectively.
More than 3,000 journalists have registered to cover the two aforementioned sessions, including more than 1,000 journalists from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and abroad, according to the press center.
The press conference hall and interview rooms in the press center were equipped to conduct a series of interview activities.
The press center for the two sessions will provide a range of online services and procedures, making the work of local and foreign journalists more convenient.
Electronic copies of key conference documents will also be made available to journalists, relieving media reporters of the burden of waiting in long lines on site to receive them.
Interview rooms will be set up at the residences of NPC deputies and members of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, to provide convenient services for conducting media interviews with them.
