The meeting of the preparatory committee for the work of the fifth session of the Joint Higher Committee between the State of Qatar and the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, scheduled to be held in Doha tomorrow, Saturday, was concluded, headed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Sameh Shukry, Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The State of Qatar’s delegation at the preparatory committee meeting, which was held over two days, was headed by Mr. Nayef bin Abdullah Al-Emadi, Director of the Arab Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the Egyptian side was headed by Dr. Mohamed Al-Badri, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Arab Affairs.
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that the capital, Doha, hosted today the meeting of the preparatory committee for the work of the fifth session of the Joint Higher Committee between the State of Qatar and the Arab Republic of Egypt, headed by Nayef bin Abdullah Al-Emadi, Director of the Arab Affairs Department at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Muhammad Al-Badri, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Arab Affairs. At the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Earlier, Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sovereign Fund of Egypt, received Tariq Ali Al-Ansari, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Cairo, to discuss ways to enhance future cooperation between the two countries. The meeting was attended by Hazem Khairat, Advisor to the Minister for International Cooperation, and Kamal Nasr, Assistant. The Minister for Technical Office Affairs, and Ali Al-Jarhab, Second Secretary at the Embassy.
During the meeting, Hala Al-Saeed confirmed that the political and economic relations between the two countries are witnessing positive developments in the recent period at a good pace, in terms of exchange of visits and the resumption of joint cooperation frameworks to strengthen bilateral relations, in a way that serves the aspirations of the two countries in order to consolidate security, stability, development and political coordination towards regional issues in particular. Those that affect joint Arab action in the interest of both sides, referring to her meeting with Lulwa Al Khater, Qatari Minister of International Cooperation, and her accompanying delegation last November. This is to discuss ways of joint cooperation between the two countries.
