Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, wife of former President Bill Clinton, has spoken out against international efforts for a ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas.
She stated: “people who are calling for a ceasefire don’t understand Hamas now. It’s not possible.”
She also added that “It would be such a gift to Hamas because they would spend whatever time there was a ceasefire in effect rebuilding their armaments, creating stronger positions to be able to fend off an eventual assault by the Israelis.”
Clinton ended up her speech by saying: “We are in a very different world I don’t think it had to be the world we are in but that’s where we are and we have got to figure our way forward through it.
