An Egyptian delegation participates in the 2024 World Youth Festival in Russia

Under the slogan “Youth, Dream and Challenge,” the World Youth Festival in Sochi, Russia, constitutes one of the most prominent global youth events, as it brings together interested young people from all over the world during the period from March 1 to March 7, 2024, in accordance with a decree from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The festival is a vital platform for young people to discuss the challenges of the modern world and strive to create a safer and more just world.

In his speech, President Putin called on young people to realize their ambitions and visions for the future world, noting that the festival provides the opportunity for interaction, exchange, and highlighting young people’s opinions on important events.

The festival program includes a variety of activities, including lectures, discussions, exhibitions, cultural and sporting events, joint training, volunteer activities, etc., giving young people an opportunity to express their opinions and share their experiences.

The Egyptian delegation is participating in the festival with more than 100 people, who are divided into six sub-groups covering various fields such as sports, culture and media, headed by Dr. Abdullah Al-Batash, Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports for Youth Policies and Development.

The festival is an important occasion to strengthen cultural and sports relations between Egypt and Russia, and to enhance cultural and youth exchange between the two countries
