The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Cairo, in partnership with the Qatar Fund for Development, organized an iftar party at Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 as part of the Iftar Project funded by the Fund, in the presence of Ambassador Tariq Ali Farag Al Ansari, Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Cairo, those responsible for managing the hospital, dozens of children receiving treatment at the hospital, their families, and a group of media professionals representing… Various media.
The program included an inspection tour of the hospital’s various departments, taking souvenir photos with the children, and distributing gifts to them in an atmosphere of familiarity and joy.
The ambassador indicated in a statement to reporters that the initiative comes within the context of the State of Qatar’s policy of caring for all segments of society, including children, and spreading an atmosphere of optimism among children and their families.
Ambassador Al Ansari praised the great effort and tremendous medical services provided to sick children and the impressive results reflected in the high recovery rate, considering that the hospital’s experience deserves to be a model to be emulated.
The ambassador said that those in charge of the hospital’s management have a clear vision for developing and expanding the hospital’s capacity to allow the treatment of many cases, and they always strive to find ways that provide them with the financial capabilities to achieve this, especially since the idea of establishing this hospital was based primarily on donations.
