During the current crisis and the crime war that Israel has waged on Palestinians, Jolie emphasised her sympathy for Palestinians.
and she posted a statement on Instagram condemning Israel for attacks on the Gaza Strip. She described it as “the deliberate bombing of a trapped population with nowhere to flee,” adding that “Gaza has been an open-air prison for nearly two decades and is fast becoming a mass grave.” She also mentioned that 40% of those murdered were children, and whole families are being murdered” and that the world is watching “with the active support of many governments.” And she stated that world leaders are complicit in these crimes.She claimed that the blockade is depriving Palestinians of food, medicine, and humanitarian relief, which is illegal under international law, and she demanded an urgent ceasefire.
