The UAE Ambassador organizes a group iftar for orphan girls in Cairo

Yesterday, Saturday, March 30, the UAE Embassy in Cairo organized a group iftar for orphan girls inside the Lamsa Amal Social Foundation.

The initiative comes within the framework of the cultural initiatives of the UAE Embassy in Cairo for the year 2024, and its commitment to enhancing cultural diplomacy through various sectors in Egypt.

In addition to the orphan girls, this group breakfast was attended by a number of diplomats, mission employees, state students studying in Egypt, officials of charitable societies, and public figures.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, Maryam Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, praised the efforts of the Touch of Hope Social Foundation in providing an ideal model for orphan care, which qualified it to win this year the “Hope Makers” Award in the United Arab Emirates.

Ambassador Maryam Al Kaabi expressed her happiness at her presence today in this social institution that was able to provide distinguished care for these girls, stressing at the same time the importance of charitable and humanitarian work that laid its foundations in the United Arab Emirates, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, God willing. He trained all of Zayed’s sons.
