Representative Atef Alamuddin, Senator, Councillor Abdelwahab Abdelrazek, Speaker of the Council, called for a special session to raise citizens’ awareness of the importance of positive participation in the presidential elections. This came during the plenary session of the Senate, chaired by Chancellor Abdelwahab Abdelrazek, to discuss the report of the Committee on Energy, Environment and Manpower on economic development among energy sources and the reduction of environmental problems in relation to the carbon market and carbon tax in the light of the study submitted by MP Amr Izzat, a member of the Youth Coordination Parties.
Alem El-din said that “I propose that the Council convene a special meeting to raise citizens’ awareness of the importance of active participation in the presidential elections. It will be a meeting broadcast in all visual and radio channels. It will have an impact on citizens of the importance of participating and casting a vote in the electoral boxes for Egypt’s image before the world. “
