Ambassador Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman in Cairo and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, confirmed that the international community has failed to this point in curbing the Israeli ambitions at the political and military levels, pointing out that the recent escalation of the Israeli aggression against health and medical institutions, especially the recent The Shifa and Extermination Hospital, whose features were revealed after the Israeli military withdrawal from its surroundings, is a crime against humanity in a systematic act of clear human annihilation in all its aspects.
Ambassador Al-Rahbi added during the work of the extraordinary session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of permanent delegates, which was held today, Wednesday, at the request of the State of Palestine and the support of member states, to discuss Arab and international action to stop the crime of genocide and the policy of starvation and displacement against the Palestinian people, as well as to discuss action. In the context of the political solution to the Palestinian issue, the Arab and International Conference stated that the recent bombing that targeted the Iranian consulate in the Syrian Republic is a clear disregard for international diplomatic laws and norms represented by the Geneva Diplomatic and Consular Conventions and other relevant international agreements.
Ambassador Al-Rahbi focused on the necessity of conducting an independent investigation into the Israeli aggression and prosecuting Israel for its deliberate targeting of civilians in the Gaza Strip and their facilities, depriving the Palestinian population of their humanitarian needs, starving them, and subjecting them to siege and collective punishment. In the same context, there must be a mechanism to deter the occupying state from targeting international diplomatic headquarters.
