President Sisi receives a phone call from a member of Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency, the next President of the Council.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt received a phone call from Denis Bečirović, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who is set to become the next President of the Council.

According to the presidential official spokesperson, the call discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries at various levels, particularly in the fields of tourism, increasing trade, cultural, training sectors and capacity building.

They also exchanged views on the situation in the Gaza Strip, where they agreed on the need to intensify international and regional efforts to stop the fighting, protect civilians, and provide safe access to humanitarian assistance to the people of the Gaza Strip without obstacles, as well as to advance the path of reviving the peace process and a just and lasting settlement of the Palestinian issue on the basis of a two-state solution.
