Du Zhanyuan, president of the China International Media Group, said that Xi Jinping’s book “On Governance and Administration” represents an important work by the Chinese president and is an “intellectual window” for the world to understand China.
He added in his speech during an international conference held today at Prince Muhammad Ali Palace in Manial, to present and present the Arabic edition of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s book “On Governance and Administration,” that since the publication of the first volume of the book in 2014, four volumes have been issued in 41 languages, and it has been distributed. In 180 countries and regions around the world.
He added that the book is considered one of the most influential works of leaders in the modern era, and it is a reliable book for readers from all over the world to understand the strategy of governance and administration in China and the modern civilization of the Chinese nation in the new era, and it received wide attention and welcome from senior political figures, experts, scholars and the masses of people in the world. Various countries, including Egypt.
He continued that, at present, under the leadership of President Xi Jinping, the Chinese people are working comprehensively to strengthen the building of China into a strong country and achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese-style modernization; Under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Egyptian people are also actively working to promote “Vision 2030” for national renaissance.
In this context, he expressed his desire to share some ideas and experiences about reading the book “Xi Jinping… on Governance and Administration,” and promoting Chinese-style modernization with “Vision 2030.”
He continued, “This book explains the value orientation of putting the people first, and embodies the people-centered development thought in running the country. President Xi Jinping has stressed that “the people’s aspiration for a better life is the goal of our struggle.” The book also explains China’s vision for the international order. and global governance, and pays close attention and thinks deeply about the future and destiny of humanity.
He pointed out that this book reveals the inner logic of Chinese-style modernization, and provides a reference and inspiration for developing countries to explore the path of modernization. Modernization is the long-cherished ambition of several generations of Chinese since the modern era.
He stressed that the book “Xi Jinping…on Governance and Administration” provides a distinguished explanation of China’s application of the new development thought based on innovation, harmony, greenness, openness and mutuality, and achieving keeping pace with new-style industrialization, informatics, urbanization and agricultural modernization, as well as modernizing the state’s governance system and governance capacity.
