Qatar hosts a meeting of delegates of the League of Arab States, Central Asia and Azerbaijan

On Monday, the Qatari capital, Doha, hosted a joint coordination meeting of senior officials between the permanent delegates to the League of Arab States, the countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, in preparation for the work of the third session of the Arab Economic and Cooperation Forum with the countries of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, scheduled to be held on Tuesday.

The meeting was chaired by Ambassador Tariq Ali Faraj Al Ansari, Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the League of Arab States, the host country, and Ambassador Dr. Khalid bin Muhammad Manzalawi, Assistant Secretary-General – Head of the International Political Affairs Sector of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.

The meeting discussed the draft Doha Declaration scheduled to be issued at the third session of the forum, with the aim of reaching a unified vision regarding all the issues of common interest mentioned in the declaration, the most important of which is the war in Gaza, geopolitical challenges, and economic issues of concern to the Arab side.
