He explained, “These special historical relations, which date back to before the era of the independence of the State of Kuwait in 1961, have passed important milestones and were strengthened thanks to the wisdom and identical visions between the leadership of the two countries over the past decades, which contributed to their consolidation in various fields.”

Al-Ghanim added that the visit of Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad “would give an impetus to the distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries and move them to broader horizons to cover broader areas” under the wise leadership of the two countries.

He pointed out the identical positions of the two leaderships regarding all regional and international issues, especially the Palestinian issue and the brutal aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip that continues for the seventh month in a row.

He stressed that the visit confirms the Kuwaiti leadership’s keenness to strengthen communication and consultation between Kuwait and Cairo on the latest regional and international events, in addition to discussing issues of common interest and developing bilateral relations in several fields for the benefit of the two brotherly countries.

The Kuwaiti ambassador appreciated Egypt’s positions towards its sister Kuwait since the era of independence and its support for everything that would achieve security and stability for the State of Kuwait.

Al-Ghanim also praised Egypt’s efforts to improve the investment environment and climate and open its doors to Arab and foreign investments in general and Kuwaiti investments in particular, pointing to the confidence of the Kuwaiti private sector in the investment climate in Egypt, especially in light of the economic reforms undertaken by the Egyptian government to improve the business environment and attract foreign investments.

He said that the State of Kuwait occupies a distinguished position among Arab investments in the Egyptian market, which demonstrates the confidence of the Kuwaiti investor in the Egyptian economy and the investment opportunities available in this market, noting the financing programs provided by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, including more than 50 strategic projects that contribute Significantly in supporting the Egyptian economy.

He expressed his confidence that the Emir’s visit to Cairo and his meeting with President Sisi will be successful by all standards and at all levels, given their wisdom and sophistication, which will benefit the two countries and the two brotherly peoples.
