Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen, the Turkish ambassador to Cairo, said that the volume of new Turkish investments in the Egyptian market reached $500 million in the last two years, and at least 5 new companies started working in Egypt during the current year.
This came during a tour of a delegation of Egyptian journalists organized by the Turkish Embassy in Cairo to the headquarters of the “Beko” company in the 10th of Ramadan City.
The ambassador added that Beko is considered one of the largest institutional companies in the world in terms of creating household electrical appliances, and it is also considered one of the preferred brands.
He continued: When Beko came to establish its factory in Egypt, Hassan Allam Company carried out these construction works.
Umit Gunel, General Manager of Beko Egypt and Northwest Africa, said that his company has gained its place in the hearts of consumers as a Turkish brand in the countries in which it operates, thanks to its high quality, innovative products, and organization of its sales and services.
He added during the tour that, as part of its vision for global leadership, Beko decided to invest in its factory in the 10th of Ramadan City in Egypt, starting last year.
He continued: His company continued its investments with determination despite the geopolitical changes in the region.
