The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has followed up on the International Court of Justice’s decision in the case of genocide charges against Israel to impose additional emergency measures to immediately cease military operations in Rafah and allow humanitarian aid and investigative committees to enter the Gaza Strip.
While the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the Sultanate of Oman’s welcome of the decision of the International Court of Justice in this regard, it appeals to the international community, especially the Security Council, to bind Israel to its responsibilities in accordance with international law and to implement the decision of the International Court of Justice to immediately stop aggressive actions in the Palestinian territories.
