A Kuwaiti media official confirmed that the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Information Ministers adopted a unanimous recommendation at its meeting yesterday in Manama to give top priority to items related to the Palestinian issue in the Arab media.
Acting Undersecretary of the External Media Sector at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information, Bader Al-Tararwa, indicated that the delegation of the State of Kuwait approved during the meetings of the 19th session of the office, which concluded yesterday in the Bahraini capital, the recommendations of the Permanent Committee for Arab Media regarding the adoption of educational media curricula in Arab educational institutions, improving the media performance of journalists, and encouraging youth competencies.
Through Kuwait’s sponsorship of the Media Excellence Award in preparation for its presentation before the meeting of the Arab Information Ministers Council scheduled to be held today, Wednesday.
