Egyptian singer Amr Diab has announced that he will donate a portion of the proceeds of his upcoming concert in Dubai to the Red Crescent Society to provide aid to the residents of Gaza. Amr Diab posted an announcement of the concert on his Instagram account, clarifying that the original tickets that were previously released are still valid and that new tickets will be released for those who want to get them. He also announced the donation, stating: “As part of the “Tarahom for Gaza” campaign, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Crescent Society, supporting their mission to provide aid to the children of Gaza and their families.”
Amr Diab’s concert is the first at the official level to be held in Dubai since the bombardment of Gaza. Diab had previously decided to postpone all of his musical performances due to the political situation.
