Portuguese reports have revealed the financial details of the offer made by Rio Ave to sign Ahmed Nabil Kouka, the Al-Ahly and Egypt national team player, during the current summer transfer window.
According to the Portuguese newspaper “Record,” Rio Ave has made an offer of $1.2 million to acquire Ahmed Nabil Kouka, the midfielder for Al-Ahly and the Egyptian national team.
Ahmed Nabil Kouka shone with the Egypt national team during the recent Olympic Games, delivering impressive performances throughout the tournament.
A source within Al-Ahly club disclosed that Ahmed Nabil Kouka has received an official offer from the Portuguese club Rio Ave to join them during the current summer transfer period.
The source confirmed that Rio Ave is looking to sign Kouka on a permanent transfer rather than a loan deal and is waiting to hear Al-Ahly’s demands to finalize the deal for the young player.
However, the source clarified that Al-Ahly has rejected the idea of discussing the Portuguese offer and is insisting on keeping the player due to the club’s need for his efforts in the upcoming season, especially after numerous departures following Aliou Dieng’s move to Al-Kholood in Saudi Arabia and the lack of a new midfield signing so far.
It’s worth noting that Kouka participated with the Olympic team in the Paris 2024 Olympics, scoring a goal in the group stage match against Uzbekistan.
His outstanding performance with the young Pharaohs has attracted the attention of European clubs looking to sign him.
