Palestinian political leaders have condemned the ongoing Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip, calling it a form of collective punishment that is worsening the humanitarian crisis in the area.
Gaza, which has been under blockade since 2007, continues to suffer from shortages of food, medicine, and other essential supplies.
The situation has deteriorated further in recent months, with power cuts and fuel shortages affecting everyday life for residents.
Human rights groups have also criticized the blockade, claiming that it violates international law and hinders the region’s ability to recover from conflict.
Palestinian leaders are urging the international community to intervene and pressure Israel to lift the blockade, arguing that it is causing unnecessary suffering to the civilian population.
