Japan and the United States have agreed to strengthen their military alliance in response to growing concerns over China’s military expansion in the Pacific region.
During a high-level meeting in Tokyo, defense officials from both countries discussed plans to enhance joint military exercises and increase the deployment of U.S. troops to Japanese bases.
The move comes as China continues to assert its territorial claims in the South China Sea, sparking fears of a potential conflict.
Both Japan and the U.S. have expressed a commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the region, but the growing tensions with China could lead to further military confrontations.
