Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is visiting China in September 2024, where he aims to bolster economic and political ties between the two countries.
The visit comes as Egypt seeks to secure Chinese investments in key infrastructure projects, including energy and transportation. Discussions will also focus on the Belt and Road Initiative, a cornerstone of China’s global trade strategy, which Egypt is looking to benefit from as it strengthens its role as a gateway to Africa
