Russian Minister of Emergency Situations Alexander Krennikov arrived in Cairo on an official visit to participate in the 57th session of the Executive Council of the International Civil Defence Organization and the 26th session of the General Assembly of the Organization.
The Russian Embassy in Egypt said that the talks took place at Cairo Airport with Major General Amin Al-Jalaei, Assistant Minister of Interior for the Ports Sector, who received the Russian Minister at the airport.
In another context, the Minister of Emergency Situations expressed his thanks to Egypt during his opening speech for hosting this important event, expressing his hope to continue active and fruitful work within the framework of this organization.
The Russian Minister chaired the 57th session of the Executive Council of the International Civil Defence Organization and the 26th session of the General Assembly of the Organization, which are being held from October 28 to 30 in Cairo.
